On January 11, 2023, a book launch event will be taking place at the Faculty Club, in which the new book Cross-Border Cosmopolitans: The Making of a Pan-African North America, which will feature a discussion with the author, Professor Wendell Nii Laryea Adjetey (William Dawson Chair, History and Classical Studies, McGill), and discussants Professor Joe W. Trotter Jr. (Giant Eagle University Professor, History, Carnegie Mellon University) and Professor Leonard Moore (History and Classical Studies, McGill), moderated by Professor Catherine Desbarats (History and Classical Studies, McGill).
